The hotel had recently been refurbished, giving the rooms a modern and well-equipped feel. It was a perfect choice for my business visit, offering all the essentials including an ironing board and iron. The service was a bit disorganized for larger groups, but the hardworking staff managed to save the day, especially considering my wife and daughters' food allergies. The location, although in need of an update, was great value for accessing nearby attractions like the celtic manor. However, the dining experience left much to be desired with cold and delayed food service. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

The location is convenient for driving and offers easy access to nearby attractions. The dining experience was decent but could improve, especially with more attentive restaurant staff. Overall, a pleasant stay with good value for money.

My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were impeccably clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay, such as lovely crisp bed linen and fluffy white towels. The staff was incredibly welcoming and always made sure we felt at home. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in when I had to wait longer than expected. The location was convenient, especially for quick trips to nearby cities, and the price was great value for the quality of service.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The room was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in, so modern and in great condition. The service was brilliant - the staff were so helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for our weekend stay, close to major cities and lovely for kids. The dining experience was okay, but I felt it could offer better value for the price. Overall, a great hotel with a few minor downsides.

Upon entering the room, I noticed it was quite hot on the first floor despite the table fan provided. The bed was not made, giving the impression someone else had used the room. However, the room itself was good, and I found the breakfast delightful with service always accompanied by a smiling face. Overall, it was a nice experience here.

Rooms
7.0
The room was hot initially due to the weather, but having the fan on helped a bit. The room itself was good, and I enjoyed the breakfast provided.
Service
8.0
The service was excellent, especially considering we arrived early. However, I felt some staff could benefit from additional customer training. Despite this, the housekeeping staff made up for any shortcomings with their hard work. There was, unfortunately, some inappropriate discussion about other staff members in our presence.
Location
8.0
The location was convenient, being close to the M4 and situated in a pleasant residential area. It suited our needs perfectly, but it might benefit from an update.
Dining
6.0
The dining experience had its downsides, as the offerings were not well explained, and the advertised waffles were unclear. Breakfast starting later than expected was a letdown, and some aspects were disappointing, such as cold food. On the positive side, there was a free welcome drink provided, and I found the tapas delicious.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities were decent overall, but some improvements could be made. It was nice to have a welcoming drink, but clearer dining explanations and better temperature control for food would enhance the experience.

The hotel is located in a pleasant residential area just off the motorway and near to Cardiff City centre. The rooms are comfortable and clean, but some had holes in the wall that were left open after cleaning. The service was a bit of a mix with some rude encounters but also helpful staff at the New Inn pub. The dining options could see improvements with limited choices. Overall, the location is convenient, and there are some positives and negatives to consider.
